I’ve started micro-blogging for many reasons. Part of it is that I’m a control freak and I want an easily accessible history of my posts, something that Twitter doesn’t give me. So, I’ll post here and update Twitter with Twitter Connecter by Robert Plank. I might also experience with other plugins to update other services.

I like having the posts in WordPress because I can add longer posts and include Video, Audio, Pictures: like Tumblr.  To do this in Twitter, I’d have to use third party services like TwitPic, etc. It is a bit less convenient, but I like to be in control.

Another advantage should be increased traffic to my other sites as they are all linked together.
